Wildcats golfers scramble at The Oaks

    The Cuba High School golf team competed in a two-player scramble tournament hosted by Crocker at The Oaks at Lake of the Ozarks on April 27. The Wildcats finished eighth out of 11 teams.

Woodall sets new SHS javelin record

    The Steelville High School track teams competed in the 11-team Waynesville Boys and Girls Varsity Invitational on Friday. Both squads finished seventh.

Cards suffer first GVC loss to Vienna

    The Steelville High School baseball team fell to 1-1 in Gasconade Valley Conference play after losing to Vienna 8-4 on April 21. The Cards also lost to Sullivan 7-0 on Friday, April 24, and are now 4-4 on the season.

Lady Cards win two of three to improve to 6-3

    After dropping their first two games of the season, the Steelville High School softball team bounced back with a pair of victories last week, defeating Bourbon and Houston by a combined score of 35-5.

Booker headed to Baptist Bible College

    Two-time all-state player Sydney Booker, who is a senior at Steelville High School, is headed to Baptist Bible College in Springfield to continue her basketball career. An official signing ceremony was held for her in the SHS gym on April 20.

Church signs with St. Louis Community College

    Alyssa Church, the standout point guard on this year’s Steelville High School Lady Cardinals basketball team who helped lead the team to a third-place at the Class 3 final four, will be playing St. Louis Community College (SLCC) in the fall. Church officially signed her letter of intent to play for the Archers on April 16 in the SHS gym.
