Powered by five event-winning performances, the St. James High School track squad captured the boys’ team championship of the 11-school Osage Invitational, held April 16.
Senior Lucas Bahr smashed a two-run, walk-off home run in the bottom of the seventh inning to complete a comeback and give the St. James High School baseball team a 5-3 Four-Rivers Conference victory over Pacific Monday, April 22 at Nelson Hart Park.
The St. James Middle School track teams set three new records this week. The teams took first and second at Hermann on April 16. The boys were first out of seven teams, while the girls finished second out of eight teams.

The Lady Tigers fell to Four-Rivers Conference foe Owensville 5-1 Thursday, April 18 at home. STJ lost to non-league foe Laquey 7-2 Tuesday, April 16 at home.
The St. James High School golf team dropped a Four-Rivers Conference dual meet to Union 179-206 Wednesday, April 17 at the St. James Golf Course.
Union’s Garrett Klenke shot three-over-par 39 to earn individual medalist honors while his Wildcat teammate, Jacob Towell, was runner-up with 42.
The Steelville Middle School boys came home with the first-place plaque from a huge meet at Linn on April 18. The Cardinals finished first in a 16-team field, while the Lady Cards came in third among 14 teams.
