BMS boys do well at Viburnum meet

    The Bourbon Middle School track boys track team has one of its best performances of the season in Viburnum on April 8 when they finished third in a six-team field. The Warhawks also competed in Cuba last week.

Girls take fourth, boys fifth in last week’s home meet

Three CHS Lady Wildcats finished first in their respective field events to help the Cuba girls take fourth place overall in the Cuba High School Invitational Track Meet held at the Field of Pride on Thursday, April 11.

Bayless takes third at Eagle Knoll

The Cuba Wildcat golf team traveled to Hartsburg, Missouri on Wednesday, April 10 for the Southern Boone Golf Classic, now in its twelfth year. Cuba finished in fifth place out of 14 teams scoring in the match, and Jonathan Bayless was third overall in individual scores for the 18-hole competition, which took place at Eagle Knoll Golf Club.

Bayless, Shockley and Clark lead the pack as CHS wins conference golf meet

The Cuba High School golf team placed four athletes among the top seven, and all five Wildcat golfers finished among the top ten golfers in the Gasconade Valley Conference Tournament played at Viburnum on Thursday, April 11. Senior Jonathan Bayless won the tournament outright, and the Wildcat team also placed first in conference team standings, with Bayless, Austin Shockley and Paven Clark taking the top three spots in the conference showdown.

Wildcats take fourth in GVC Tourney

Cuba baseball finished fourth in last week’s Gasconade Valley Conference Tournament, which was partially held at Paul Bryan Field before being moved to Vienna for the final round of games due to wet field conditions. The Wildcats went 1-1 in pool play before losing to the Steelville Cardinals in a battle for third place.
