Governor’s Cost-Share Program to generate development through transportation projects

                  The Missouri General Assembly in the last legislative session appropriated $75 million to the departments of transportation and economic development for the Governor’s Transportation Cost-Share Program, aiming to build partnerships with local entities to deliver road and bridge projects. Guidelines and applications for the cost-share program are now available at modot.org/governors-transportation-cost-share-program.

CFO grants $25,000 from Let’s Get to Work Fund

                  In the first grants from the Let’s Get to Work Fund for the 2022–23 grantmaking cycle, the Community Foundation of the Ozarks is granting $25,000 to three agencies:

Department of Natural Resources to hold public hearing on grid resilience formula funding application

The Missouri Department of Natural Resources’ Division of Energy will hold a public hearing via Webex from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2022, to provide opportunity for comment regarding the department’s application for grid resilience formula funding under Section 40101(d) of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.

Governor issues special session call for tax cut, critical agriculture tax credits

Monday, during a press conference at the State Capitol, Governor Mike Parson announced that he has issued the official call for a special session to make historic income tax cuts and extend key agriculture tax credit programs for a minimum of six years. The General Assembly will meet in Jefferson City on September 6, 2022, at 12 p.m. to begin consideration of Governor Parson's proposed legislation.

Department of Social Services warns Missourians of EBT credential harvesting scheme

The Department of Social Services warns Missourians to be alert of phishing attempts to steal login credentials for their EBT card. FIS Global, Missouri’s EBT card vendor, has warned of emails being sent to clients impersonating FIS using Zix Secure Messaging and using free sites to mimic an FIS client login page to steal their login credentials.
