The 2018 OAT After Dark: Concerts and Cabarets series comes to a close on August 23 with a concert from local musician Bob Kraus at the Cedar Street Playhouse. Mr. Kraus will be playing his solo show “The Songs You Remember”, a fun evening of folk, pop, and a whole lot of nostalgia. The concert is produced by Ozark Actors Theatre.
“Bob is a mainstay of the local music scene,” said Ozark Actors Theatre Artistic Director, A.S. Freeman, “And he’s an incredible guy on top of being a supremely talented musician. When we decided to launch this concert series, he was at the top of our list to give a call to try and get a show.”
Audiences may know Bob Kraus from his work with local band “Trilogy” as well as in praise bands around town - most recently at First United Methodist Church.
The show takes place at 7:30 on Thursday night at the Cedar Street Playhouse, located at 701 N. Cedar Street in Rolla. Tickets are available through the Ozark Actors Theatre Box Office. Tickets are all $12.
Dr. Emmett Reary will speak about the local history of UFO sighting in Dent and surrounding counties, Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at 6 p.m. at the Salem Pizza Inn.
The program is free and open to the public. Food and drinks are not provided. Discussions starts at 5 p.m., if you would like to join the group for dinner. The event is part of the Dent County Historical Society's Speakers Series.
