Halloween celebrations held at MBSH

    A dozen departments at Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital participated in the annual Halloween costume contest this year.  The employees were very creative in coming up with numerous incredible themes from comical to scary.  

Doe Run donates Viburnum building to Missouri Highlands Health Care

    The Doe Run Company (Doe Run) has donated a building in Viburnum, Missouri, to Missouri Highlands Health Care. This facility will expand health-related services to the communities in Iron and neighboring counties. Formerly used as a bowling alley, the 11,920 square-foot building has an appraised value of $238,000.

Employees at Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital compete in Crockpot Cook Off

    MBSH held a Crockpot Cook Off for its employees on Friday, November 2.  Altogether, there were 20 pots and roasters of chili and soups entered into the contest.  

Doe Run Mine Rescue Teams earn top honors at competitions

In honor of Mine Rescue Day (October 30), The Doe Run Company celebrated the recent accomplishments of its Gray and Maroon mine rescue teams. The Maroon Team placed 2nd, and the Gray Team placed 6th, out of 43 teams in the Field Competition at the National Mine Rescue Contest.

McWhorter recognized by Mace

    Jackie McWhorter is celebrating 18 years of working with Mace Supermarket.  She originally worked for Karsch Supermarket in Rolla, Missouri.  When that store closed, she was transferred to the Cuba Karsch store.
