A homeless man who allegedly knifed his girlfriend has been charged with domestic assault.
Mental Health America of Eastern Missouri (MHA-EM) is marking its 75th anniversary on October 3 and two Cuba High School alums are helping to bring the organization’s outreach to Crawford County. As part of a broad celebration, there will be an event in Cuba and an online auction featuring three items being donated from two businesses and a resident of Steelville.
Due to waivers provided through the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and the United States Department of Agriculture, all students in the Cuba School District will have access to free lunch and breakfast through December 22, the end of first semester.
Just a week after reporting a drop in both COVID-19 cases and the number of teachers and students quarantined due to possible exposures to the disease, the Cuba School District reported a rise in both numbers on Friday, September 18.
Cuba High School will celebrate its annual football homecoming game on Friday, October 2, when the Wildcats host Sweet Springs. Due to the ongoing pandemic, several changes are being made this year to reduce potential exposure to the coronavirus.
