Students at Bourbon Schools paid tribute to local soldiers and their families at a public assembly held at the Bourbon High School gymnasium on Monday, in observance of Veterans Day.

On Saturday, November 4, Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital hosted their annual Community Health Fair at the MBSH Specialty Clinic and also had a health information booth at the Bourbon School District Craft Fair in Bourbon, MO. Between the two events, over 200 people from the Sullivan and Bourbon communities came out to take advantage of the various screenings and health information offered by the hospital and local providers. Additionally over 177 free flu vaccines were administered.
State Representative Jason Chipman, R-Steelville, presented Opal W. Rohrer, resident of Bourbon, a House Resolution commemorating her on her 100th birthday at a celebration held on Sunday, October 21st at the First United Methodist Church in Bourbon.
The Bourbon Library and Community Center will hold a program on Thursday, October 25 at 6:30 p.m. entitled Tales of a Ghost Hunter.
Alice Bremer of the Bourbon Booster Club shows off the October Book Buzz books recently donated to the Bourbon School Library by the organization as part of Three Rivers Publishing’s Newspapers In Education program.
