BHS Beta Club and PAi team up for blood drive

    On Friday, November 5 the Bourbon High School Beta Club sponsored a Blood Drive in the high school gym. Bourbon High School has been hosting blood drives for over 19 years.  

New bike store opens in Bourbon

    Area biking enthusiasts has been patiently waiting for Bourbon Cyclery to open and their wishes came true on November 9. The bike shop, which offers much more than bikes for those who want to be active in the outdoors, is located at 126 W. Pine Street, Suite C, in Bourbon.

Marine officer speaks at BHS on Veterans Day

    Lieutenant Colonel Rich Johnson, who is the executive officer in charge of the Marine detachment at Ft. Leonard Wood, was the guest speaker for Veterans Day at Bourbon High School on November 11. Johnson shared some of his experiences in the Marines and took questions from the students.

Felony charges filed in road rage incident

    A Bourbon man has been arrested almost three months after an alleged road rage incident where he reportedly hit a woman in the head, causing a severe brain injury and months of hospitalization.
