On Monday, December 3, Bob Martin of the Sullivan Masonic Lodge No. 69, presented a check in the amount of $1,200 to the Crawford County R-I School District, Bourbon, to be used for students in need of coats, clothing and shoes. This donation includes $600 from the Masonic Home and $600 from the Sullivan Masonic Lodge No. 69.

On a bright sunny Sunday at noon more than 100 senior citizens gathered at the Bourbon School Elementary Cafeteria to enjoy the annual Bourbon Booster Christmas Party. Guests arrived, many coming from morning church services in Bourbon and Leasburg.
An estimated 75 people came out last Saturday evening for the Village of Leasburg’s first annual Christmas in the Park, hosted by the Leasburg Revitalization Organization at Fulton Park.
A team of AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC) members is working with the Eastern Parks District of Missouri State Parks primarily restoring and improving trail systems. The group of 10 young adults arrived on November 10 and will be serving in Leasburg at Onondaga Cave State Park through December 19.
