As of Monday, July 6, Crawford County’s new total for positive COVID-19 cases is 18. According to numbers posted on the Crawford County Health Department (CCHD) Facebook page, there are 18 confirmed cases in the county. Of those, there are five active cases, 13 released from isolation, two positive serology (antibody testing), and 1,484 negative results.

Collector reports tax sale issues
Crawford County Collector Pat Schwent brought two concerns to the commission at their June 30 meeting—both related to the annual tax sale—and both connected to properties that have been discovered to have inaccuracies in ownership records and property descriptions.
First application for CC CARES Act funds received
The first application for CARES Act funds from the county was received last week. Crawford County Associate Commissioner and CARES Act Committee member Jared Boast updated his fellow commissioners about the committee’s work at their meeting on June 30.
Crawford County now has 15 positive COVID-19 cases
The Crawford County Health Department (CCHD) is no longer issuing press releases with each confirmed positive case of COVID-19, but plans to continue to report public locations of potential exposure at this time, as warranted, weekly, on Thursday afternoons.
