Missouri WIC issues first eWIC cards

            The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) launched the highly anticipated pilot #1 in the statewide rollout of eWIC, an electronic benefits transfer card which provides a more convenient way for WIC participants to shop for WIC foods. Crawford County is scheduled to implement eWIC on July 15, according to Health Department Administrator Honor Evans.

County Clerk says April 7 election will proceed, despite governor’s order

    Although Missouri Governor Mike Parson announced today that the state’s April 7 Municipal Elections would be postponed due in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Crawford County Clerk John Martin says he plans to go forward with holding the local elections in April as planned.
