Thanks, Rob, for the editorial last week about Missouri House Bill 2004 regarding the removal of "age-inappropriate sexual material" from public libraries.
Letters to the Editor
This letter is not to complain or criticize. This is actually a compliment.
My husband and I are so impressed with the city of St. James street and sanitation workers. We know there is not a huge staff in either department, but at any time we have needed their help they have been there to help us. The people we have dealt with are very courteous and helpful.
The past few weeks have been extremely painful for my wife and me. First, Prince Harry and his wife announced they were splitting from the Royal family and would be moving out of the Royal Palace. Since they and the rest of the Royal family were so close to my wife and me, this was a real blow to both of us.
Years ago a college professor gave his students a problem to solve. He told them about a pregnant woman who already had several children and some problems in her life. Then he asked the students for their opinion as to whether the woman should give birth to her pre-born child or have an abortion.
God seems to have a master plan to balance out the good people and the bad people in every family. As I am civilly committed for life to the Missouri Department of Mental Health, I am the stereotypical “bad people” of my family. To balance out all the sins I have committed over the past 70-plus years, God added my granddaughter Andrea to the family tree.
