The Phelps/Maries Health Department announced on Thursday, June 25, it is investigating an outbreak of COVID-19 relating to employees of the St. James campus of Great Circle.

The Tiger Shark Waterpark opened for the summer on June 19, bringing in crowds of socially-distancing families. Plans are in place to address COVID-19 concerns, but the pool will be holding summer programs until the season ends on August 31.

The small business has implemented several procedures to protect both its employees and customers.
The St. James Chamber of Commerce announced they will hold the annual July 4 fireworks display this year, with some changes expected due to COVID-19. Fireworks will be fired from the water tower on the north side of I-44 near the middle school and can be viewed from areas on that side of town.
