Kindred at Home makes donation to St. James Senior Center

                  Jeff Wallace is a Senior Home Health Specialist employed by Kindred at Home. Jeff is at the Senior Center the last Friday of every month during the birthday luncheon to ensure that all the birthday folks go home with a goodie bag.

Chamber celebrates year with awards dinner

            The St. James Chamber of Commerce held its annual membership and awards evening on Saturday, April 23, presenting several awards honoring individuals, businesses, and organizations who made a difference in 2021. Each year, the Chamber recognizes the efforts of those in the community for their volunteerism, support of local businesses and organizations, and those who do their part to make St. James a better place to live.

Sip n Savor presale tickets available now

            Sip n’ Savor returns to St. James on Saturday, May 7, and will again offer many tasty samplings of Missouri’s best wine, beer, and food. This annual event is sponsored by the St. James Chamber of Commerce and will once again be a celebration of breweries, wineries, and food in the downtown plaza.

Ward 2 seat decided by a coin toss

           A Ward 2 race for the St. James City Council that resulted in a tie in the April general election was settled by a coin flip on April 19. The race was for a partial, one-year term between Greg Edwards and Nathan Kemnitzer where the vote ended 62-62.
