For 12th year a Perona will be at state championships

            It’s cross country state meet time, so naturally a Perona will be there!

Blocked punt return extends Tiger season, 20-14

            Senior Cody Wilfong has put up some big offensive numbers over the past two years for the St. James Tigers. However, it was his play on special teams that extended the Tiger season Friday, Oct. 28.

Freeman has been a true two-way great for Lady Tigers softball

            The past three years junior Alexus Freeman’s accomplishments have been hanging with those of one of the greatest athletes in the history of St. James High School athletics, as far as a hitter for the Lady Tigers softball squad.

Lady Tigers seventh-graders romp, 42-10

            Brynlee Costoplos fired in 12 points and Kaelyn Smith added 10 to lead the St. James Middle School seventh-grade girls basketball squad to a 42-10 victory over St. Clair Monday, Oct. 24 at the St. James Middle School gym.

Lack of offense puts Tigers on the road for district opener

           A lack of offense cost the St. James Tigers a district home game to open postseason play, as STJ ended the regular season by falling to the Pacific Indians 29-12 Friday, Oct. 21 in Four Rivers Conference play Friday, Oct. 21 in Pacific.
