Tigers hosting Dutchmen in playoffs

    The St. James and Owensville football squads should know each other pretty well.
    The two Four-Rivers Conference rivals will meet for the fourth time in the last two years on Friday to open the postseason.

Volleyball season comes to a close - PHOTO GALLERT

    The season came to an end for the St. James High School volleyball team Monday, Oct. 22, as the fifth-seeded Lady Tigers were swept by fourth-seeded host Union 2-0 in first-round action of the Missouri Class 3 District 10 Tournament at Union High School.

5th grade headed to title game

    The St. James fifth- and sixth-grade youth football teams have had a fine 2018 season, with one reaching the championship game of their division and the other the semifinals.

SJMS Lady Tigers won five of six basketball games last week

    The St. James Middle School seventh grade Lady Tigers remain undefeated, taking all three games last week: 53-7 over Washington, 53-8 over Pacific, and 52-2 over Sullivan. The eighth grade won two games: 53-26 over Washington and 41-17 over Pacific before falling to Sullivan 29-26.

SJMS boys win FRC championship

    The St. James High School cross country team was eighth in the boys’ varsity division and in the middle school division the Tigers Middle School boys captured the league championship at the Four-Rivers Conference Meet, held Oct. 16 at Hermann.
