County Clerk seeking more election judges for November

Phelps County Clerk Pam Grow is hoping to get more election judges for the upcoming November 3 general election, as she is encountering a shortage of judges. Grow has heard concerns from current and potential judges and hopes to get more involved.
Linda Robertson named August Senior Companion of the Month
Linda Robertson, of Rolla, was chosen Senior Companion of the Month for the month of August.
Robertson and her sister were born in Waynesville, Missouri but later moved to Dixon, Springfield, and Labadie, Missouri and then returned to Rolla, Missouri in 1973.
Missouri S&T receives $1 million gift from the Sunderland Foundation to complete new lab

Missouri University of Science and Technology has received a $1 million gift from the Sunderland Foundation to complete construction of the Clayco Advanced Construction and Materials Laboratory in Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall. The foundation also supported the project with a $100,000 gift in 2016.
