Record number of employer booths expected at Missouri S&T Career Fair

The Career Fair is returning to Missouri University of Science and Technology this September with two days of in-person events, and one day of virtual networking. More than 380 employer booths are expected to be at the three-day fair.

Festive events planned for Missouri S&T Homecoming in October

Tour campus departments during open houses and cheer the Miner football team to victory as part of Missouri S&T’s 2021 “MinerFest” Homecoming celebration, held Oct. 8-9.

Nickell appointed to the Amusement Ride Safety Board

    Last week, Governor Mike Parson announced three appointments to various boards and commissions and filled two county office vacancies. Among the appointments, Joseph Nickell, of Rolla, was appointed to the Amusement Ride Safety Board.

MRPC board hears update on Wastewater Operator Study

    The Meramec Regional Planning Commission (MRPC) heard an update from Assistant Director Tammy Snodgrass on the Wastewater Study completed by MRPC at its Aug. 12, 2021 meeting. The study examined the feasibility of sharing certified wastewater operators between communities in the Meramec Region to reduce costs and improve staff retention.  

Celebration of Nations is Sept. 25

The 12th annual Celebration of Nations will return to downtown Rolla this year on Saturday, September 25.  The event, a partnership between Missouri S&T and the city of Rolla, will showcase and recognize the cultural diversity of Missouri S&T and the region.
