S&T to establish global engineering scholarships

    Future engineers planning for international careers as part of Missouri University of Science and Technology’s global engineering program will soon have additional support to help offset the costs of studying and intern abroad.

Citizens’ Climate Lobby to hold speaker series in Rolla

    “Going Solar” is one topic in the new speakers’ series sponsored by Citizens’ Climate Lobby to help you get beyond the doom and gloom of the climate situation. Nick Barrack, Partner of AV3 Energy, will talk at the Phelps County Courthouse Multipurpose Room in Rolla, Missouri on Sunday, September 19 at 2 p.m. The talk is free.

TAC prioritizes road, bridges and multi-modal projects for the region

    The Meramec Regional Planning Commission’s (MRPC) Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC), meeting Aug. 12 at MRPC, prioritized the next round of unfunded needs in the region, including the top five Tier Three road and bridge and the top 10 multi-modal projects to assist MoDOT in its planning efforts for future projects.

Fox appointed to Coroner Standards and Training Commission

    Governor Mike Parson recently announced three appointments to Coroner Standards and Training Commission, including Phelps County Prosecuting Attorney Brendan Fox.
