Phelps County now offering expense reimbursement grants to businesses

The Phelps County Commission has now opened its CARES funding to businesses within the county. Phelps County received $5,229,302 in federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic (CARES) Act for reimbursable COVID-19 expenses that they have incurred, beginning March 1, 2020.

The Meramec Regional Planning Commission (MRPC) is seeking survey responses from all Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) wastewater permit holders in the Meramec Region. MRPC is currently conducting a feasibility study of wastewater treatment operations in the region through a grant awarded by MDNR.

The Rolla Bureau of Mines was named one of 11 Places in Peril by the Missouri Alliance for Historic Preservation (Missouri Preservation). The 2020 list was announced via a virtual event held on October 29.
