Archie Manuel Spencer of Rolla, Missouri was born on Dec. 13, 1940 in Maries County, Missouri to Emmett Spencer and Lucy (Feeler) Spencer and passed away Monday, March 9, 2026 at the age of 85 years.
On August 24, 1963, he married Sandra (Black) Spencer in Rolla, Missouri.
For more than 60 years, Archie poured his heart into Spencer Construction. He built many properties and projects throughout Rolla, Missouri.
He loved sharing good meals—especially seafood, prime rib and anything sweet.
He had a relationship with God throughout his life and in recent years became a part of the Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Don Spencer and Paul Spencer; and great grandson, Cole.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Spencer of Rolla, Missouri; six children, Alyce Spencer and partner Paul Colvin of Rolla, Missouri, Lucia Hart and husband Richard of Rolla, Missouri, Dana Spencer of Rolla, Missouri, Randy Spencer and wife Alyssa of Rolla, Missouri, Stephanie Duff and husband Daniel of Arnold, Missouri and Michael Spencer and wife Karla of St. James, Missouri; two sisters, Linda Rush and Mary Sue Sanchez and husband Tony, both of Rolla, Missouri; grandchildren, Rachael Skaggs and partner John Wann, Eric Skaggs, Katie Chapman and husband Joe, Gabby Hart, Michael Hart and wife Kendra, Jessie Williams, Nathan Hall, Craig Hall, Anna Winton, Natalye Spencer, Alyson Spencer, Lauren Duff and spouse Kaylie Weiss, Olivia Sidwell, Lindsay Duff, Luke Duff, Michael Spencer Jr., Lexi Spencer, Kierra Sanford and fiancé Brett Leeser and Keith Spencer and wife Katie; 26 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla, Missouri.

Interment followed in the Spencer-Davis Cemetery.
