Billie Joyce Witt of Sullivan, Missouri was born on Oct. 4, 1948 in Sullivan to Quentin and Geneva (Copeland) Dace and passed away May 13, 2026 at the age of 77 years.

She grew up in Sullivan and attended school there, graduating from Sullivan High School in 1966.

On April 19, 1966, Billie married Kenneth Witt. They lived in Sullivan for several years, where she worked in factory jobs while Kenny labored at the Pea Ridge Mine. When the mine closed, the family moved to New Llano, Louisiana.

While in Louisiana, Billie worked as a bank teller. One experience during that time was being at the bank when a robbery took place. After that frightening event, she chose not to return to banking.

In 1987, the family returned to Sullivan to make their final home. She later went to work for Four Rivers Home Health.

She was a member of Temple Baptist Church.

She enjoyed fishing and watching Cardinals baseball.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenny Witt; granddaughter, Renee Anderson; parents, Quentin and Geneva Dace; sister, Linda Canoy; brother, Jimmie Ray Dace; brother-in-law, Gene Center; two nieces, Kellie Smith and Kristin Center; and nephew, Adrian Daniels.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy West and husband Eric of Washington, Missouri; grandchildren, Jason Witt and significant other Danielle Okeeffe of Fenton, Missouri, Jennifer Jones of Steelville, Missouri, Sophia West of Sullivan, Missouri and Rochell Graddy and husband Kyle of Foristell, Missouri; great grandchildren, Madilynn Jones, Carlie Anderson, Felicity Hinkebein and husband Jake, Dwight Stokes, Kyliegh and Khloe Graddy, Matthew Witt and significant other Jade Ream, Alivia Witt, Brian Donovan and Alexander and Addison Jones; great great granddaughter, Mallorie Hinkebein; four sisters, Mary Ann Center of Sullivan, Missouri, Dianna Richards and husband Dave of Monroe Falls, Ohio, Judy Kay Hartung and husband Paul of Warrenton, Missouri and Beverly Daniel of Sullivan, Missouri; brother, Ralph Dace of Leesville, Louisana; sister-in-law, Doris Dace of Pocahontas, Missouri; other relatives and friends.

Cremation has taken place.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at I.O.O.F Memorial Cemetery in Sullivan, Missouri with R.L. Schatz officiating.
