I want to know why Cuba can’t blacktop eastbound 66. I checked with the mayor and he said it was up to MoDOT. MoDOT says, they would but Cuba has to pay for it. Route 66 is a state highway, but why isn’t it being blacktopped from Hwy. 19 to where they stopped at Copling Appliance?
The city spends money on parks but lets roads go. There are big bumps in 66 that when a truck pulls a camper with nothing in it, it really bangs like an accident has happened. This happened at Mapleshade and East Washington. We are honoring Old 66, but not taking care of it.
