Bobby "Bob" Ray Hulsey of Sullivan, Missouri was born on March 21, 1942 in rural Washington County and passed away on Sunday, Jan. 18, 2026 at the age of 83 years.
He attended school at Pea Ridge and later graduated from Sullivan High School in 1959.
After graduation, Bob joined the family building trade, where he honed his skills alongside his father and brothers, Warren and Bryce. Together, they constructed many homes and businesses.
In 1968, he was drafted into the US Marines and served his country in Vietnam. He was recognized with three Purple Hearts before he was honorably discharged in 1969.
Returning to Sullivan, Bob rejoined his family at Associated Crafts. In 1992, he ventured out on his own.
On February 25, 2008, he married Theresa Krygiel.
He loved to hunt and fish, pursuing all kinds of game. He made numerous hunting trips out west, often accompanied by his prized mule, Molly.
He was preceded in death by a son, Brian; parents, Ted and Ruth Hulsey; two brothers, Warren Hulsey and Bryce Hulsey; and infant sister, Cheryl.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa; children, Aron Hulsey of Washington, Missouri, Briana Harrison and husband Brandon of Columbia, South Carolina and Mike Krygiel and wife, Olivia of Union, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Christian, Scarlett, Crimson, Samuel, Ella Rae, Truett, Nellie and Lainey; two sisters, Pat Hammond and husband Clifford of Livonia, Michigan and Carol Lueken and husband George of Sullivan, Missouri; sister-in-law, Sheryl Hulsey of Bourbon, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026 at the Eaton Funeral Home of Sullivan, Missouri.
Services were held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 23, 2026 at the Ridge Church of Sullivan, Missouri with Pastor Mike King officiating.
Burial with full military honors at Cave Spring Cemetery in Sullivan, Missouri.
