The tough start to the spring baseball season continued for Bourbon High School’s baseball team.
The Warhawks lost a pair of road games to Stoutland on April 6 before falling to Belle on April 13. Bourbon lost 4-0 to Stoutland and fell 13-0 to Belle and is now 0-5 on the season. Bourbon’s scheduled April 2 home opener versus Richland was cancelled due to the rain and their scheduled game on April 13 against Viburnum was also cancelled and it’s to be determined if it’ll be made up.
The Warhawks were scheduled to play their first game at home on April 14 against Steelville, if nature allows. More rain is called for in the forecast, however if they play, it will be detailed in next week’s edition. The Warhawks are then scheduled to play in Laquey on April 16, host Bismarck on April 20 and play the following afternoon on April 21 in Dixon.
