Charles Lee “Chuck” Rowden

Charles Lee “Chuck” Rowden of Leasburg, Missouri was born on Dec. 3, 1962 in Milton, Florida to Allan and Kathleen Rowden and passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at the age of 63 years.

As the son of a military family, he spent much of his childhood living throughout the United States before his family eventually settled in Leasburg while he was in middle school. He graduated with the Bourbon High School Class of 1980.

Shortly after high school, Chuck traveled to Oklahoma to work in the oil fields before returning home to Missouri. He later worked in real estate, selling lots at Lost Valley Lake Resort.

Chuck married Terri Boero on June 28, 1997 in Sullivan, Missouri.

He worked for the Missouri Department of Transportation for 28 years, retiring as a supervisor overseeing roadway maintenance throughout Jefferson County.

Outside of work, Chuck could almost always be found on the family farm. He loved raising cattle, baling hay, working outdoors, and tinkering on old antique farm equipment. He enjoyed coon hunting, and spending time down by the river. He also enjoyed listening to classic rock, especially K-SHE 95, and watching old western movies.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Allan and Kathleen Rowden; siblings, Tammy Byrd, Patrick Rowden and Deborah Rowden; and three uncles, Earl, Melvin, and Charles “Buck” Rowden.

He is survived by his wife, Terri Rowden of Leasburg, Missouri; three children, Tori Brock and husband Michael, Anthony Rowden and wife Kayla and Bam Rowden and wife Kayleigh, of Leasburg, Missouri; five grandchildren, Liam Rowden, Sofia Rowden, Amelia Rowden, Caroline Rowden and Charleigh Rowden, all of Leasburg, Missouri; one brother, Mark Rowden and wife Rhonda of Leasburg, Missouri; one sister, Linda Ransom and husband Larry of Leasburg, Missouri; other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, July 20, 2026 at Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, Missouri.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, Missouri.

Interment followed at Lick Creek Cemetery in Cuba, Missouri.
