Last week I sent a letter to the editor urging voters to vote for the park tax which I believed was to be on the August ballot. This week I learned that it will not be on the August, 2026 ballot, but will be on the April, 2027 ballot. I apologize for the error.
I still very much support passage of the park tax. I think our parks are valuable assets to the community and worthy of our support. I plan to campaign for its passage next year.
