The next meeting of the Crawford County Democrats is April 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the former First Presbyterian Church located at 701 Main in Cuba. Enter from the back parking lot where an accessible ramp is available.
Future plans for the club, including a fundraiser in August, will be discussed. Funds raised support Democrat candidates, issues and actions. Current effort is funding the “Democracy, not Dictatorship” billboard through the midterms. You can see this sign on the left side of the interstate just past Sullivan if you are heading westbound on I-44 at mile marker 221.4.
To sign the petitions to protect the initiative petition process and protect public education, signature gatherers will be available on the porch of the Wallace House at 605 W Washington Street in Cuba, from 3:30-5 p.m. on Tuesdays and 8-9:30 a.m. on Fridays, weather permitting, through April 17.
If you would like to donate to the billboard campaign, join the club and keep informed, visit crawforddems.com, or Crawford County MO Democrats on Facebook.
