The Cuba High School Drama Club is proud to announce its upcoming fall production of Lost in the Woods, a one-act comedy written by Stephen Murray. Performances will be held Friday, November 7, and Saturday, November 8, in the Cuba High School Commons. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the show begins promptly at 6:00 p.m.
Lost in the Woods follows a group of tech-dependent teenagers who attend a “no-technology” summer camp designed to help them reconnect with nature—and with each other. When they accidentally wander off and become lost in the forest, panic sets in as strange noises and campfire legends take on a life of their own. Just as they fear the worst, a surprising visitor—a friendly sasquatch named Sassy—shows up to turn their misadventure into a night they’ll never forget.
This hilarious and heartwarming one-act play offers a mix of comedy, teamwork, and a touch of mystery as the campers learn to survive without Wi-Fi and discover the value of friendship in the great outdoors.
The production showcases not only the talented ensemble of actors onstage but also the hard work of student designers and crew members responsible for sets, lighting, and costuming.
General admission tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for Crawford County R-2 students and staff and free admission for children 10 and under
