Edward "Ed" Harold Usery of Stanton, Missouri was born on Sept. 24, 1949 in St. Louis, Missouri to Donald and Catherine (Spanevello) Usery and passed away Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025 at the age of 76 years.
He grew up in Fenton, Missouri where he attended local schools.
He enlisted in the United States Air Force, serving four years.
He married Rebecca Lewis and later divorced.
Ed briefly worked for the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) before finding his niche in factory work at the Orchard Corporation.
He married Linda Weppner.
In 2015, Ed joined the team at TradCo where he worked until retirement.
He rekindled a romance with his first wife, Becky and they remarried in 2024.
He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time at the lake. He enjoyed watching football and baseball. He was particularly proud of his Ford Mustang.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda; parents, Donald and Catherine Usery; and three brothers, Paul Usery (infant), Michael Usery, and Mark Usery.
He is survived by his wife, Becky; sons, Eric Usery and wife Tara and Justin Usery all of Sullivan, Missouri; stepchildren, Kathy Weppner and significant other T.J. of Bourbon, Missouri, Bill Weppner and wife Michelle of Greer, South Carolina and Laura Weppner of Washington, Missouri; three grandchildren, Liam Usery of Washington, Missouri, Jaden Usery and Emma Usery both of Sullivan, Missouri; brother, Matthew Usery of Cedar Hill, Missouri; sister, Michele Schmuke and husband Roy of Union, Missouri; aunt, Nina Usery of Cuba, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, Missouri.
Services were held at noon on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, Missouri with Pastor Steve Day officiating.
Cremation took place following the service.
Inurnment at a later date at Kinder Cemetery in Cuba, Missouri.
