Harold Loyd Mullins

Harold Loyd Mullins was born on May 7, 1931 in Omaha, Putnam County, Missouri to Orval and Letha (Daniels) Mullins and passed away September 13, 2026 at the age of 95 years.

On June 6, 1952, Harold married Susie Clinkenbeard.

Harold served his country as a Corporal in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954. Following his military service, he continued his education and completed a Bachelor of Science in Vocational Agriculture from the University of Missouri in Columbia in 1958.

He worked as a teacher and later as a high school principal. He earned his Master’s in Education from the University of Missouri in 1963 and served in public education until his retirement from the school system in 1976.

After leaving public education, Harold became an agent for Shelter Insurance until his retirement in 1996.

He and Susie also enjoyed traveling together and spending their winters in southern Texas.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cuba and the Cuba Volunteer Fire Department and served with the Missouri Disaster Relief, Windermere Baptist Camp, and mission trips with the Truss and Obey Building Team.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Orval and Letha Mullins, and son, Stephen.

He is survived by his wife of 74 years, Susie; son, Donald; daughter, Brenda and husband Marty Bowman; daughter-in-law, Cheryl; five grandchildren, Jason Mullins, David Mullins, Ben Mullins, Susan (Bowman) Pettus and Robert Matthew Bowman; five great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
