Missouri Ozarks Community Action (MOCA) provides quality early childhood education and other services for qualifying families of children birth to five years of age.
Early Head Start and Head Start are now enrolling. For Early Head Start, children can be ages birth to three years. For Head Start, children must be three years of age before July 31.
Documents needed include proof of child’s birth, proof of family income, child’s immunization record, TANF/Disability (SSI) Documentation, SNAP (Food Stamps), EBT card or eligibility of services.
In addition to early childhood education families can receive:
• safe, nurturing environment
• Health and dental screenings
• research based curriculum
• qualified teachers
• opportunities for family involvment
• healthy meals and snacks
• convenient hours
• trauma informed care
• access to disability services
Head Start operates under a grant from the Department of Health and Human Services.
