Imogene B. Horn

Imogene B. Horn of Rolla, Missouri was born on Nov. 11, 1937 in Bunker, Missouri to Luther Riden and Maude (Ryce) Riden and passed away Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2026 at the age of 88 years.

On Nov. 7, 1975, she married James E. Horn in Rolla, Missouri.

Imogene was an owner and operator of Jim’s Ceramic Tile and worked alongside her husband Jim. She was also a preneed agent and greeter with Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla for many years.

She took pride in being a homemaker and enjoyed quilting and knitting. She was a charter member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church since it began in 1978.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim Horn; son, Michael Shomshor; daughter-in-law, Brenda Shomshor; one sister, Eilleen O’Neal; and brother-in-law, Paul Spencer.

She is survived by two sons, Rick Shomshor and wife Nikki of Ursa, Illinois and Ronald Shomshor and wife Janet of Rolla, Missouri; one stepdaughter, Debra Dudley and husband Jim; three stepsons, Dennis James Horn, Michael Eugene Horn and James Eugene Horn Jr.; two sisters, Lillian Hastings and husband Sam of Branson, Missouri and Adra Spencer of St. James, Missouri; two sisters-in-law, Darlene Riden of West Plains, Missouri and Ailene Riden of Newburg, Missouri; six grandchildren, Andy Shomshor, Brandy Shomshor, Eric Shomshor, Annie Shomshor, Anthony Shomshor and Amanda Phelps and husband Dustin; eight great grandchildren, Alexis Becker, Bryce Shomshor, Ryker Shomshor, Treyn Shomshor, Alexis Niehouse-Vote, Emma Ball and husband Jacob, Bryton Vote and Anson Phelps; one great great grandson, Psalm Ball; other relatives and friends.

Memorial service will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church at a late date.
