Janet Edna Stock was born on Dec. 10, 1932, in St. Louis, Missouri to Raymond and Mary Boese and passed away April 22, 2026 at the age of 93 years.
Throughout her life, she dedicated her time to roles as a waitress, bartender, telephone operator, nurse's aide, caregiver and volunteer.
She was a member of the Women's American Legion, the Indian Hills Ladies Club and was involved in several women's bowling leagues. She was also a member of Holy Cross Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Mary Boese; siblings, Joann, Rick and Sissy; husband, Clarence B. Stock; three children, Gary, April and David; and three grandchildren, Taylor Stock, Cali Faaborg and Charlie Stock.
She is survived by three children, Randy (Leigh Ann) Stock, Tammy (Roger) Shafferkoetter and Cindy (Scott) Faaborg; grandchildren, Jason (Kerri) Stock, Jennifer (Scott) Miller, Katy (Paul) Rawlins, Michael Faaborg, Carl (Leslie) Shafferkoetter, Jesse (Danielle) Shafferkoetter and Nick (Kayla) Shafferkoetter; grandchildren, Kyle, Raiden, Makenlei, Annaleigh, Ainsley, Ashlynn, Jameson and Saxton; other relatives and friends.
Memorial gathering and celebration of life was held from noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Mizell Funeral Home & Crematory in Cuba, Missouri.
Her urn will be placed in the Columbarium Wall at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri at a later date.
