Jennifer Marie Gerlemann of Owensville, Missouri was born Sept. 23, 1979 in Sullivan, Missouri to Stanley Ray and Elizabeth Kathleen (Blanton) Shoemaker and passed away Friday, March 20, 2026 at the age of 46 years.
She was united in marriage Sept. 12, 1998 to Richard Gerlemann in Bland, Missouri.
Jennifer enjoyed spending time with family, reading, traveling and her times at the beach.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Edna Morgan Shoemaker, Logan Shoemaker, Mildred Jaeger Blanton Ray and Franklin Blanton; father-in-law, LeeRoy Gerlemann; brother-in-law, Kenneth Gerlemann; nephews, Philip Shoemaker and Ryan Gerlemann.
She is survived by her husband, Richard of their home; parents, Stanley and Kathy Shoemaker of Owensville, Missouri; mother-in-law, Mary Gerlemann of Gerald, Missouri; children, Abigail Busenhart and husband Brandon, Luke Gerlemann and Brody Gerlemann all of Owensville, Missouri; siblings, Brian Shoemaker and wife Marie of Owensville, Missouri, Kurt Shoemaker of Bourbon, Missouri and Shelly Shoemaker of Arlington, Texas; brothers-in-law, David Gerlemann and wife Brenda, Leroy Gerlemann and wife Penny, Wayne Gerlemann and wife Teresa, Donald Gerlemann, John Gerlemann and wife Denise, Gary Gerlemann and wife Karen, Ronald Gerlemann and wife Sherri, Mark Gerlemann and wife Jamie and Timothy Gerlemann; sisters-in-law, Ruth Hale and husband Ronald, Betty Blaue and husband Troy, Barbara Benson and husband Charles and Cindy Gerlemann; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2026 at the Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville, Missouri.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at First Baptist Church in Owensville, Missouri with Pastor Gary Mace officiating.
