Judith "Judy" Ann Ray was born on April 6, 1944 in Joplin, Missouri to Jack and Mary (Tackitt) Delmont and passed away Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026 at the age of 81 years.
She grew up in Galena, Kansas where she graduated high school.
She married Thomas Ray on Sept. 29, 1962 in Oroville, California. They lived in California for 10 years before moving to Sullivan, Missouri in 1972.
Judy dedicated more than 30 years of service to the Crawford County R-I School District, working first at the middle school and later at the high school.
She enjoyed quilting, fishing, traveling and spending time outdoors.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Thomas Ray of Sullivan, Missouri; four children, Michelle Ray, Marc Ray and wife Julie, Toni Earl and husband Nick and Mable Paquin and husband Jeff; grandchildren, Thomas, Amanda, Chase, Erin, and Brittany; brother, Jack Delmont and wife Jerry; other relatives and friends.
A private ceremony was held by the family.
