Karen Sue (Wilson) Clancy of St. James Missouri was born on Nov. 30, 1951 in Newburg Missouri to Johnnie Jacob Wilson and Lola Virginia (Braidlow) Mesko and passed away Sunday, March 29, 2026 at the age of 74 years.

On June 7, 1980 she married Leslie W. Clancy Sr.

Karen loved the Lord and attended Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rolla, Missouri for over 60 years.

She worked as the secretary at Phelps Health in the radiology department.

She attended college, got her degree and taught nutrition to most of the surrounding grade schools

working for the University of Missouri Extension office located in the Phelps County courthouse.

She is survived by her husband, Les Clancy of St. James, Missouri; sisters, Judy Manuel of Jamestown, Missouri and Sandy Neumann of Cypress, Texas; eight children, Jennie (Stewart) Pope, Robin (Kevin) Ahart, Kellie (Dave) Barnett, Tracy (Scott) Rosenow, Les (Susan) Clancy Jr., all of St. James Missouri, Carmen Turner of Battlefield Missouri, Paul (Kati) Clancy and Wes (Esther) Clancy of Salem, Missouri; grandchildren; great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Monday, April 6, 2026 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rolla, Missouri.

Funeral service was held at noon on Monday, April 6, 2026 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rolla Missouri.

Interment followed in the Anutt Cemetery.
