Kathleen “Kathy” Susan (nee Hall) DePaulo of Steelville, Missouri was born on Dec. 16, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri to Woodrow Wilson Hall and Dorothy Lee (nee Spearman) Hall and passed away August 13, 2026 at the age of 75 years, 7 months and 28 days.

She graduated from Fairview High School in Jennings, Missouri with the Class of 1969.

She married Vincent Vito DePaulo on December 5, 1969 in St. Louis, Missouri.

Kathy devoted much of her life to caring for her home and family. She also spent 13 years cleaning homes.

She knew her Lord and Savior and had accepted Him into her heart. She attended Steelville Assembly of God and loved to sing, sharing her love of music as a member of the gospel group, The Guardian Angels.

She enjoyed making ceramics and oil paintings, as well as cooking and baking. She also enjoyed playing cards and board games and even taught her grandchildren how to play poker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Dorothy Hall; husband of 49 years, Vincent DePaulo; parents-in-law, Luigi and Frances DePaulo; grandmother, Pauline Brune; siblings, Sandra (Rudy) Nowack and David (Pearl) Owens; infant grandson, Michael Richardson; niece, Danielle Stricklin.

She is survived by her two daughters, Jackie (Jeff) Richardson and Gina DePaulo both of Steelville, Missouri; grandchildren, Dakota Richardson and Malachi Richardson both of Steelville, Missouri, Tyler Garrison and Megan (Corey) Lang both of Joplin, Missouri; great grandson, Laisyn Lang; siblings, Mary (Hollywood) Stricklin of Cherryville, Missouri, Virginia “Jenny” Cox of Arnold, Missouri and Ronnie (Debbie) Hall of Miami, Florida; sister-in-law, Cora DePaulo of Las Vegas, Nevada; other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held from 10-11 a.m. on Friday, August 21, 2026, at Hutson Funeral Home in Steelville, Missouri. 

Celebration of Life was held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 21, 2026, at Hutson Funeral Home in Steelville, Missouri with Rev. Jerry Beers officiating. 

Inurnment followed at Cherryville Baptist Cemetery.
