Kortney Leeann Forester of Cadet, Missouri was born Jan. 23, 1995 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to Darrien Cummings and Starlene Jones and passed away Nov. 21, 2025 at the age of 30 years.
She was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Lincoln, Arkansas.
On November 15, 2024, she married Michael Forester in Potosi, Missouri.
She always thought of her children's needs before her own. She filled the family home with many plants and was an animal lover. She loved the outdoors whether she was taking her family for an outdoor stroll, going fishing or kayaking.
She was a member of the Deer Creek Church in Cuba, Missouri.
Kortney was preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard and Peggy Robinson.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Forester of Cadet, Missouri; four children, Elijah Forester, Omar "Santi" Calvillo, Silas Calvillo and Faith Rodgers; parents, Darrien Cummings of Arkansas and Starlene Hinds of Missouri; one brother, Tyler Cummings and wife Andrea of Arkansas; two sisters, Kate Hammond and husband Ethan of Oklahoma and Kendra Cummings and wife Alyssa of Texas; in-laws, Chip and Angela Forster of Cuba, Missouri; sisters-in-law, Michaela Gruver and husband Dylan of Cuba, Missouri and Jerri Forester of Cuba, Missouri; grandmother, Nana Shirley Jones of Missouri; aunt, Rhonda Stewart of Missouri; cousin, Terra Ford and husband Stephen of Arkansas; special friend, Leta Reyes-Vieyra of Arkansas; other relatives and friends.
Cremation arrangements have taken place. No services planned at this time.
