Lester J. Trotter of Cuba, Missouri was born on August 16, 1951 in Corning, Arkansas to Sidney Trotter and Thelma (White) Trotter and passed away, Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at the age of 74 years.
He married Loretta Zbleski on Feb. 14, 1969 in St. Louis, Missouri.
He had worked in the automotive manufacturing business for some time. He had a knack for tinkering with cars and other projects.
Lester loved to partake in a game of pool while listening to his favorite country western music; his favorite being, George Jones. Him and Loretta also enjoyed trips to Arkansas to visit his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Thelma Trotter; one daughter, Judith McKibben; siblings, Willis Trotter, Lorine Tanner and Myrtle March; and sister-in-law, Linda Trotter.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Loretta Trotter of Cuba, Missouri; two children, Stacee Reed of Rolla, Missouri and Lester (Kathy) Moore of Rolla, Missouri; brother, Howard Trotter of Arkansas; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, April 13, 2026 at Mizell Funeral Home & Crematory in Cuba, Missouri.
Graveside service was held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at Kinder Cemetery in Cuba, Missouri.
