Love Thy Neighbor in Viburnum, Missouri is once again preparing to serve families in need through our annual community outreach projects taking place June 28 through July 2.
The Viburnum Economic Development Area Corporation (VEDAC) and Love Thy Neighbor are partnering this year in the community once again to make the mission a success.
Our mission is simple:
"Doing for others what they can't do for themselves, as Jesus did for us what we could not do for ourselves."
Each year, volunteers from our community come together to help local families with essential home repairs and property improvements that they are unable to complete on their own. This year, our primary focus includes:
• Roof replacement
• Deck building
• House painting
• Yard maintenance
• Gutter cleaning
These projects make a real difference in the lives of individuals, families, seniors and neighbors who simply need a helping hand.
We are reaching out to ask for your support. There are several ways you can help make this mission successful:
• Cash donations – Financial gifts help purchase materials and cover projects costs.
• Material donations – Lumber, roofing supplies, paint, hardware, tools and other building materials.
• Equipment donations – Use of trailers, ladders, lifts, lawn equipment, power tools and other needed equipment.
• Volunteers – Skilled laborers, helpers, church groups, youth groups and anyone willing to serve.
If you would like to donate, volunteer or learn more about how you can get involved, please contact Lance Mayfield, one of the Love Thy Neighbor organizers at 573-368-8966 or send donations to Love Thy Neighbor, PO Box 790, Viburnum, MO 65566. Additional information is also available at LTNmo.org.
Thank you for your prayerful consideration and support.
