Mark A. Smith was born May 7, 1964 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to Billy and Carmelita (Baker) Smith and passed away Sunday, May 10, 2026 at the age of 62 years.
On May 13, 1989, he married Linda M. Cleary in Clayton, Missouri.
Mark owned and operated Smith Fence Company for many years, this was a family business that started in St. Louis and Mark brought it to the Sullivan area.
He was a member of Living Word Church in Leasburg, Missouri.
He was an avid hunter, loved fishing and riding his many Harleys over the years.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Smith; and brother-in-law, Gordon Robertson.
He is survived by his wife, Linda (Cleary) Smith of Leasburg, Missouri, daughter, Brittany and husband Dillon Roach of Bourbon, Missouri; son, Brenden Smith and wife Mercedes of Bourbon, Missouri; parents, Billy Smith and Carmelita Bailey both of Marble Hill, Missouri; grandchildren, Willow, Oliver and Dean; sister, Robin Robertson of Marble Hill, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life was held from noon to 3 p.m. on Monday, May 25, 2026 at Living Word in Leasburg, Missouri.
