Mark Allen Kitchen Sr. of Steelville, Missouri was born on Saturday, July 31, 1971 in Sullivan, Missouri to Floyd A. Kitchen and Wilma Ann (nee Rowland) Kitchen and passed away Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026 at the age of 54 years, 6 months and 8 days.
He grew up in Leasburg, Missouri and attended Cuba Schools.
He married Tiffany Perle McClary on Feb. 11, 1989 at Mt. Olive Church in Cuba, Missouri.
He worked for Taylor Morely, Behlmann Builders, Kitchen Construction and Garrison Roofing.
He worshiped at Living Word Church in Leasburg, Missouri.
Mark enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and trapping. The woods were his sanctuary and he brought that love of nature into his workshop, where he handcrafted custom turkey calls.
He loved his canine companions, Taffy, Nas and Mel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Wilma Kitchen; daughter, Ashlea Kitchen; brother-in-law, William Summers; and grandson, Bennett Kitchen.
He is survived by his children, Felicia and husband Coty of Cherryville, Missouri, Mark and wife Billie Jean Kitchen of Bourbon, Missouri, Ryan and wife Ciara Kitchen of Cuba, Missouri, Jacob and wife Tiffany Kitchen of Bourbon, Missouri and Mason and husband Evan Sparks of Waynesville, Missouri; ex-wife, Tiffany and husband Travis Gamblin of Cuba, Missouri; brother, Floyd and wife Tina Kitchen of Leasburg, Missouri; sister, Sherry Fife of Bourbon, Missouri; 11 grandchildren, Jace Stroup, Emma Kitchen, Braden Kitchen, Adalee Stroup, Cora Baker, Reed Stites, Raylan Kitchen, Brooklyn Kitchen, Tucker Kitchen, Layla Stites and Brantley Kitchen; special friend, Nikki Southern of Steelville, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Visitation held from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026 at Hutson Funeral Home in Cuba, Missouri.
Celebration of Life held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026 at Hutson Funeral Home in Cuba, Missouri with Pastor Jimmy Delacourt officiating.
The family chose cremation as Mark’s final disposition.
