Marlane Frances Arneson

Marlane Frances Arneson was born on Oct. 2, 1948 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Frank and Francis (Kessler) Lucente, Marlane and passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at the age of 77 years.

She grew up and attended school in St. Paul, Minnesota. Her avid reading of the Bible strengthened her faith in God’s word.

On Nov. 25, 1967, she married Frank Arneson.

They were active members of the Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Marlane and Frank moved to Lexington, Minnesota in 1973. In 1991 they moved to Salem, Oregon where she worked various clerical jobs

In 2023, she moved to Sullivan, Missouri to be closer to her family.

Marlane was an avid reader, liked antiquing and bird watching.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; parents, Frank and Francis Lucente; and three brothers, Frank, Derryle and Paul.

She is survived by her children, Destry Arneson of Sullivan, Missouri, Kari Huitt and husband Dale of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Darby Arneson and wife Trina of Cuba, Missouri and Anjill Arneson of Bend, Oregon; five grandchildren, Evan Huitt of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Dalton Arneson of Cuba, Missouri, Kyra Arneson of Phoenix, Arizona, Jae Clough of Las Cruces, New Mexico and Myles Clough of Salem, Oregon; sister, Darcy Gaffke of St. Clair, Missouri; other relatives and friends.

Memorial service was held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses of Sullivan, Missouri. Cremation has taken place.
