Melissa Jan Bolerjack of Summersville, Missouri was born on March 26, 1985 in Rolla, Missouri and passed away Saturday, July 25, 2026 at the age of 41 years.
Throughout her life, Melissa overcame the many challenges of spina bifida and cerebral palsy. She loved Disney movies and The Sound of Music.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Tom and Joelene (Cox) Bolerjack and Henry and Ruth (Nasalroad) Stevenson; and uncle, Don Stevenson.
She is survived by her parents, Tommy Bolerjack and fiancé Theresa of Salem, Missouri and Patty Hedrick and husband David of Steelville, Missouri; siblings: Kaela Smythe and husband Sean of Mexico, Shawn Bolerjack and wife Kelsey of Salem, Missouri, Nick Hedrick and wife Kristy of Viburnum, Missouri, Carley Hedrick of Viburnum, Missouri and Alex Hedrick of Viburnum, Missouri; foster sister, Aaliyah Gentry of Steelville, Missouri; eight nieces and nephews, Donivan, Dawson, Ryleigh, Parker, Paisley, Addie, Brock and Alexis; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 10-11 a.m. on August 1, 2026 in the Wilson Mortuary in Salem, Missouri.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on August 1, 2026 in the Wilson Mortuary in Salem, Missouri.
Burial followed in the North Lawn Cemetery.
