Nancy Jeanne (nee Brezette) Duncan of St. James, Missouri, formally of Berkley, Michigan, was born on Oct. 26, 1941 in Battle Creek, Michigan and passed away Sunday, June 21, 2026 at the age of 84 years.
She graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1959.
Nancy married Norman Ray Duncan.
She was actively involved at St. John Lutheran Church in St. James, Missouri, where she served as treasurer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Ray Duncan; parents, Warren E. Brezette and Egberdina 'Dena' VanAmayden; daughter, Shelli Lea (nee Morefield) Black; granddaughter, Cassie Lea (nee Black) Brady; and brother-in-law, Samuel 'Walt' Walker.
She is survived by her brother, Michael W. (Jia) Brezette of Upper Saddle River, New Jersey; sister, Karen L. Walker of Spring City, Tennessee; sons, Scot T. (Debi) Morefield of Tawas City, Michigan and Bryan S. Duncan of St. James, Missouri; daughter, Joye (Billy) Weis of Shelby Twp, Michigan; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at St. John Lutheran Church in St. James, Missouri.
Funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at St. John Lutheran Church in St. James, Missouri with Pastor Steve Allen officiating. Barbara Jernigan provided the organ music.
Nancy's ashes were interred in Roseland Park Cemetery in Berkley, Michigan.
