Norbert L. Reinsch of Cuba, Missouri born on Dec. 28, 1943 in Koeltztown, Missouri and passed away on Jan. 9, 2026 at the age of 82 years.
He married Lorene Bauer on September 19, 1964 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Freeburg, Missouri.
He worked 38 years as President of Sonn Signs & Decals, Inc. in St. Louis, Missouri.
He enjoyed a variety of hobbies including gardening, birdwatching, fishing and gigging. He enjoyed time on his John Deere tractor and watching his children and grandchildren participate in sports, band and other activities.
He coached youth baseball, basketball, and softball and was involved with the Cuba Chamber of Commerce, Cuba Lions Club and Knights of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Christina (Heckman) Reinsch; sister, Dorothy (Clarence) Huhn; brother, Eddie Reinsch; and sister-in-law, Rose Reinsch.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lorene Reinsch of Cuba, Missouri; three children, Julie (Greg) Bayless of Cuba, Missouri, John (Jennifer) Reinsch of O’Fallon, Missouri and Jenny (Todd) Hoshaw of St. Peters, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Jacob and Jonathan Bayless, Anna, Matthew and Owen Reinsch, and Ryan and Sarah Hoshaw; brother, Jerome Reinsch of Wardsville, Missouri; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Kathy Reinsch of Loose Creek, Missouri, Henry Bauer of Jefferson City, Missouri, Mary Schwartz of Westphalia, Missouri, Rita Hinton of Jefferson City, Missouri, Poncho Klebba of Jefferson City, Missouri and Glenn Stinson of Jefferson City, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Memorial gathering was held from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 16, 2026 at Mizell Funeral Home & Crematory in Cuba, Missouri and from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Cuba, Missouri.
Funeral mass was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Cuba, Missouri.
Inurnment followed at Holy Cross Cemetery in Cuba, Missouri.
