Far left Democrats have repeatedly stated that ICE and Border Patrol Agents are “Out of Control.” If that is the case, who is controlling the protesters?
Escalating the situation in Minneapolis, the protesters are defiantly out of control. They have been observed climbing on vehicles, kicking and breaking taillights. This is not just ICE and Border Patrol cars. Any vehicle that drives by is at risk of being vandalized.
Protesters have also been videoed intimidating reporters and any bystanders they don’t perceive as being on their side.
When confronting ICE and any Federal agents, they harass, pepper-spray and use vehicles to obstruct legal arrests.
On Jan. 24, violent protesters tackled an ICE agent in Minneapolis. One of the agitators bit off part of that agent’s finger.
MSN.com posted a video of a man, not associated with ICE, covered in blood, being chased into a parking garage in Minneapolis after being struck in the head with a flagpole by protesters.
A hotel in Minneapolis, where protesters suspected federal agents were staying, had windows smashed as they hurled objects at local police.
On Jan. 18, anti-ICE agitators stormed into the St. Paul church in the Twin-Cities during service.
The protesters have evolved into a violent mob. They are criminals. They are not peaceful. They are out of control. They have become insurrectionists.
Politicians like Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, who compare this to the Civil War and the first shots fired against Ft Sumter, encourage this lawlessness. Democrat pun-dents have labeled ICE agents as “Gestapo” and “White supremacists.” These labels are meant to dehumanize, making it easier to harass, assault and maybe kill.
Formed on March 1, 2003, the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is a federal law enforcement agency created by Congress as part of the Homeland Security Act of 2002. With bipartisan support, the act passed with the backing of prominent Democrats, including Senators Joe Lieberman and Tom Daschle.
ICE Executive Assistant Director of Enforcement and Removal Operations Marcos Charles said that since the beginning of ICE operations in Minnesota, the agency has arrested more than 3,400 illegal aliens, removing “criminals, gang members and terrorists” from local communities.
This is what the insurrectionists want to stop.
It is not unusual to read a story in our local newspapers of a person charged with rape or another sex crime, many against a minor. At www.dhs.gov/wow anyone can search the worst of the worst arrested by ICE. As of Saturday, there were 157 arrests in Missouri, and 14 had convictions of a sexual nature.
How many of you would like to see them not deported and released back into our communities?
The state of Texas accounts for about 23 percent of ICE activity. Minnesota represents 2 percent. How come there are all these violent incidents in Minnesota?
This is happening in Minnesota because state and local officials there refuse to cooperate with ICE. States like Texas and Missouri cooperate with removing illegal aliens.
Democrats justified lawfare against Donald Trump, before his recent election, by using Theodore Roosevelt’s phrase, “No man is above the law.”
Rioters have also used this quote while referring to ICE agents. ICE agents enforce immigration laws passed by Congress. When someone enters this country illegally, that means they broke the law. When rioters try to stop ICE, they are breaking the law. They are not above the law.
Rioters should be held accountable for their actions.
The LA Times reported on an ICE raid where Federal agents barged into a woman’s home in Georgia without a search warrant. They were looking for an illegal immigrant. Kids were crying in fear. The Times story said, “The detentions of at least 11 families across the country marked the first day of an effort by the government to find and deport Central American migrants who sought refuge in the U.S. and stayed illegally.”
There was no outrage by liberal mobs. The year was 2016. Barack Obama was President of the United States.
Interestingly, leftists celebrate the murder of Charlie Cook and United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson, going so far as to support their accused killers.
No one is cheering the loss of life in Minneapolis.
