Rhonda Gale Lafferty of Bourbon, Missouri was born on June 3, 1962 in Marshall, Missouri to James and Anna Belle (Rose) Butts and passed away Friday, September 25, 2026 at the age of 64 years.
She attended school in the Marshall community.
She worked at the rehab center in Marshall, Missouri and later worked for Walmart in Marshall.
Rhonda married John David Lafferty Jr. on February 13, 2010.
Together they made their home in Bourbon, Missouri, where Rhonda briefly worked at the Walmart store in Sullivan before retiring in 2011.
She loved her dog, Rocky and enjoyed cross-stitching and word games.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Anne Belle Butts.
She is survived by her husband, Dave; son, Tim Lafferty and wife Roxanne of Bourbon, Missouri; five grandsons, Gage Klein of Florence, Missouri, Tim Lafferty Jr. and wife Cassandra of Bourbon, Missouri, Tyler Lafferty, Ian Lafferty and Brock Lafferty all of Cuba, Missouri; three great grandchildren, Remington, Addilyn, Jazpher and another on the way; siblings, David Butts and significant other Jodi Friend, Anthony Butts and Jamie Gray all of Marshall, Missouri; brother-in-law, Mike Lafferty of Bourbon, Missouri; sister-in-law, Sue Lambing and husband Mike of Kansas; other relatives and friends.
No services will be held at this time. Cremation has taken place.
