Rita Ann Bailey of Bourbon, Missouri was born on April 13, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri to Norbert and Charlotte (Ruh) Henke and passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2026 at the age of 76 years.
She grew up and attended school at St. Francis Howell Catholic School in O'Fallon, Missouri.
After working various jobs, Rita found employment with Chrysler Corporation
She married Rick Bailey.
She was a member of Meramec Valley Baptist Church.
She enjoyed tending to and admiring her flowers, spending time in the kitchen, and sharing her cooking and baking with family and friends. She was especially well known for her pies. She also enjoyed shopping.
She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy; and parents, Norbert and Charlotte Henke.
She is survived by her husband, Rick; his son, Rick Bailey Jr. and wife Michelle of Sullivan, Missouri; three grandchildren, Rita Lawrence and husband Cory of Sullivan, Missouri, Randee Burris and husband Alec of Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri and Rick E. Bailey of Sullivan, Missouri; three great granddaughters, Renlee, Amelia and Ellie; two sisters, Rose Conway of Troy, Missouri and Brenda Goins of St. Peters, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at Meramec Valley Baptist Church of Sullivan, Missouri.
Services were held at noon on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at Meramec Valley Baptist Church of Sullivan, Missouri with Pastor Erik Williams officiating.
Burial followed at I.O.O.F Memorial Cemetery in Sullivan, Missouri.
Arrangements under the direction of the Eaton Funeral Home of Sullivan, Missouri.
